ForestWise, LLC (formerly M S Forest) has been affecting positive change across southern Colorado forest landscapes for over 30 years over multiple diverse properties owned by public and private parties. Throughout those years, over 20,000 acres have been effectively thinned bringing both direct and indirect benefits to our community such as prosperous mills, multiple resulting jobs, and a solid supply of wood raw materials that were ultimately made into just about everything you can make out of wood. Our many partners, local mills, the Colorado State Forest Service, Colorado Parks & Wildlife, non-profits and numerous local landowners have made it possible for us to continue the goal of effective, landscape-scale, mutually beneficial forest management projects over properties across southern Colorado and northern New Mexico.
